Decision Craft Wiki

Credits

How credits work, what they cost, and how they are shared.

What Are Credits?

Credits are the currency used to generate content in Decision Craft. Every action that triggers AI generation costs credits.

Key rates:

  • 1 round (scenario generation) = 12 credits
  • 1 dialogue message = 1 credit
  • Image generation is included in normal gameplay

Welcome Credits

New accounts receive a one-time gift of 120 credits (10 rounds) when they sign up, or more in case of promotion.

Daily Credits

Every account receives 120 daily credits per day (10 rounds/day). The daily balance refreshes automatically the next time you connect after 24 hours, and it refills up to the cap instead of stacking above it.

Subscription Plans

Plan Monthly Credits Rounds/month Price
Monthly 3,600 credits ~300 rounds €9 / month
Yearly 3,600 credits ~300 rounds €86 / year

Yearly subscribers receive 3,600 credits upfront, then 3,600 more each month (43,200 total over the year).

Note: The exact amount of credits included in each plan may be adjusted over time. The goal is to allow subscribers to play as much as they want.

Credit Packs

One-time credit purchases (subscribers get a discount):

Pack Credits Rounds Non-subscriber Subscriber
Small Bag 800 credits ~66 €4.00 €3.00
Big Bag 1,440 credits ~120 €6.00 €5.00

Costs Per Phase

Credits are charged per generation phase:

  • Theme generation: 3 credits
  • World generation: 1 credit
  • Character generation: 6 credits
  • Quest generation: 2 credits
  • Scenario generation (per round): 12 credits
  • Dialogue message: 1 credit per message

No Charge on Failure

If AI generation fails, credits are not deducted. The host can retry the phase at no cost (one retry per phase is allowed before the lobby needs to be reloaded).

How Costs Are Shared

  • Costs are split as evenly as possible across connected players with credits.
  • Players with 0 credits pay nothing.
  • Friends without credits can still play as long as the room can cover the phase cost.
  • When credits are spent, daily credits are used first, then paid credits.

Tip: Play with friends, pay less. The more players in the room, the more the cost is divided - so a full lobby of 6 players each pays only one-sixth of what a solo player would spend on the same session.

Not Enough Credits

If the room cannot pay for a phase, the game pauses and you'll see a Not enough credits screen.
