What Is Decision Craft?

Decision Craft is a multiplayer narrative RPG where the story, world, and characters are generated on the fly. You and your party decide what happens next, and the adventure evolves around those choices.

Key ideas:

  • Co-op first: Play together with up to 6 players.
  • Choice-driven: Your decisions, custom actions, and direct dialogue shape the story.
  • Dynamic content: Themes, worlds, quests, characters, and scenes are AI-generated.
  • Replayable: Every run feels different, and a one-shot can keep going as long as your group wants.

AI Notes (Text & Images)

Decision Craft uses AI for both story text and images. AI is creative, but it can be wrong or inconsistent. Treat AI outputs as prompts and keep the most enjoyable version of the story for your group.

Current text generation uses Grok (via OpenRouter). Current image models include FLUX.2 [klein] and Illustrious XL (via Runware).

Generated images are powerful, but they will never be perfect every time. You may occasionally see the wrong face, the wrong detail, or a typical AI deformation. That is normal. The game gives you room to play around those imperfections, use edit tools when something important is off, and benefit from quality improvements over time as models get better.

What You'll Do In A Session

  • Create or join a lobby.
  • Vote on a theme, add character wishes if needed, and select a character.
  • Receive quests and enter the live scenario.
  • Make choices, write custom actions, or talk directly to NPCs each round.
  • Track the party with world, quest, and character tools.

Multiplayer Basics

  • Up to 6 players in a room.
  • Friends can join by invite link or room code.
  • If someone joins after the game has started, the host can recreate a lobby for the same game so they can join and get a character.

Content Settings

Decision Craft supports SFW and NSFW play. NSFW is always opt-in and requires all players to allow it. The host can also choose the room's image style (anime or realistic) from Room Info. See NSFW & Explicit Content for details.
